🤓 What is an avi, avi-mp4?
AVI — Audio Video Interleaved, was developed by Microsoft to use video imaging systems in the Windows environment. In this format, the video data sectors are interspersed with the audio data sectors in such a way that the video player could support minimal data buffering. Although the MPEG format is increasingly common (MPEG standards include MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and MPEG-7), AVI continues to be the most popular for audio/video data on PC. In video input and editing, AVI remains the de facto standard.
📌 How to open AVI file?

📚 Details about the AVI file.
Audio and video sequences in an AVI file do not contain time tags and do not create indexes. The data is ordered sequentially according to their order in the AVI file. The application (video player) must display the frames of the video sequence and the audio flow according to the frame frequency and the sampling rate, respectively, specified in the file headers. Due to many limitations of the basic AVI standard, the Open Digital Media consortium has developed an extension of the AVI-Opendml AVI format, taking into account the features required for professional video production. Extensions include field support (not just frames), file sizes greater than 1 GB, time code, and many other features.
